The summary of event -66 -69 -73 73+
- Competitions are held according to the rules of the World Amateur K-1 federation (knee
kicks to head are prohibited for cadets and juniors up to 17). Muay Thai Baltic
Championship is held according to the rules of IFMA. - The entry fee is 40,- Euro.
- The following divisions are designed for both K-1 and Muay Thai: N – experience of 0 – 5 fights in any boxing ring style. A – experience of 6 and more fights in any boxing ring
style. - The following sportswear and equipment is required: boxing shorts, gloves, head guard,
bandage (groin guard), mouth protector, shin insteps’ protectors, chest protector (for age
up to 14 years in K-1; up to 15 years in Muay Thai).
The color of gloves, head guard and chest protector should match the
color of the ring corner.
If there is only one competitor in a certain category then they will have the chance to
either move up a weight category or will receive a full refund.
- One participant can compete in both styles: K-1 Latvia and Muay Thai Baltic
Championship. - One competitor can be accompanied by two seconds.
- Awarding. The winners of each category will receive medals and diplomas for 1st, 2d and
3d place. There is only one 3d place in each category. Besides, best three teams will become
cups, and some competitors will be reworded by additional cups. - Each competitor must provide the proof of identity, medical insurance and health
certificate approved within a week prior to the competitions. - Each team shall send an application to federation.riga@gmail.com by February 16,
